Talking a lot can be great fun, especially when you’re sharing on a topic that is of interest to you. And, often, other neurodivergent people are very happy to hear you talk as much as you want!

But there are also many neurodivergent people who feel that there are times when they talk too much.

If you’re uncomfortable or feel out of control of your talking, it can make social interactions more stressful for you.

This short tip sheet includes some information about the main reasons that people may find themselves talking “too much,” and gives some tips on how to stop (when you want to)!
