That’s why our individual coaching packages operate on a sliding scale between $75 and $200 per session, with a median of $100 per session.
When you choose your rate, you’re not just paying for your own care. You’re also helping someone else access support they might otherwise not afford. Those who are able to pay more make it possible for others to pay less. It’s community care in action.

This Isn’t a Discount. It’s a Value Statement.
Our sliding scale is not meant to be a budgeting tool or a promotional gimmick. It’s an invitation to reflect on your financial position and personal resources, and to choose a rate that’s honest, generous, and sustainable for you.
We believe in economic justice. That means pushing back against classist systems that prioritize profit over people. By participating in this model, you’re helping build a more equitable way of doing business, one that values fairness, transparency, and mutual support.
Why Stretch, But Not Break?
We encourage you to stretch to pick a rate that feels meaningful and supportive of our work, but not to break your budget. We want you to feel confident that your commitment is something you can uphold for the full length of our coaching relationship. If you pay more than you truly can afford, you may bring anxiety or resentment into the coaching relationship, and that doesn’t serve you or us.
On the other hand, if you can pay more but default to the lowest tier, it limits our ability to keep offering this kind of pricing structure. We ask everyone to give with care and consideration, knowing it makes a difference.
Consider Paying Less than Median If You:
- Support children or other dependents
- Have significant debt or medical expenses
- Receive public assistance or disability income
- Have immigration-related costs
- Are an elder with limited financial support
- Are a returning citizen denied work due to incarceration history
- Experience systemic barriers in hiring or wages
- Are an unpaid caregiver or community organizer
Consider Paying More than Median If You:
- Own the home you live in
- Have savings, investments, or inherited wealth
- Travel for recreation
- Have access to financial support from family
- Work part-time by choice
- Have high earning potential due to education or systemic privilege
Even if you’re not currently using your full earning power, please acknowledge it as a resource that others may not have.
Low-Or-No-Fee Spots
We maintain several low-fee spots for clients with significant financial need. Please mention your need on your coaching application. We may be open to alternative arrangements like bartering or trade.
