Loop Experience Plus Earplugs
Loops are earplugs that filter, instead of muffling, loud, damaging environmental sound while still allowing you to hear clearly. Their Experience Plus earplugs come with a removable silicone mute filter so that you can decide how much sound you would like at that moment. Without the mute filter, they have a noise reduction rating of 18 decibels. With the mute filter, they have a noise reduction rating of 23 decibels. These are a great gift for people who get overstimulated by sound but still want or need to be able to hear the people around them.
Loops Experience Plugs Earplugs can be purchased here.
Hush Holders by 3rd Try Design

One thing I didn’t like about my loop earplugs was needing to put them back safely in their case anytime I took them out of my ears. Once they were back in my bag, I would rarely take them out, even if I noticed myself getting overstimulated. These hush holders by 3rd Try Design help me use my earplugs more frequently. My favorite place to use them is when I go dancing so that I can take breaks from the music and noise without having to commit to having my earplugs in all night.
Hush Holders by 3rd Try Design can be purchased here.
Microfiber Wristbands
When I’m washing my face, I hate when the water runs down my arms. Then, I found out about these microfiber wristbands. These work great to absorb water so it does not get past your wrist. They’re soft, washable, and dry quickly. These make a great gift for anyone with a skincare routine or for those who frequently find themselves washing dishes at the sink.
You can buy these microfiber wristbands here.
Simply ENOF Veggie Powder

ENOF is a great option for people who are struggling to eat enough servings of fruits and vegetables each day, because they struggle with the texture or taste. ENOF’s powder is made from fruits and vegetables, and you only need a small amount to get 2.5 servings of fruits and vegetables. This means that you can add it to your baking and cooking without being able to taste it.
ENOF veggie powder can be purchased here.
Hydro Flask 24 Oz Wide Flex Chug Cap
Making sure that my emotional-support beverage remains an enjoyable temperature makes my mornings so much easier to get through. However, I frequently forget about my drinks, so my morning smoothie eventually gets warm, and my coffee gets cold. If you know someone who likes to drink their water at a specific temperature or just enjoys hot or cold drinks, an insulated tumbler is a great gift for them. This Hydro Flask bottle is a leakproof and made from stainless steel. It can keep your drinks cold for 24 hours, and the opening is large enough for you to add ice cubes to your drink. It is also dishwasher-safe and cupholder-friendly.
Purchase the 24 oz. Hydro Flask here.
Sensory-Friendly Lip Glazes by Emiliaxcosmetics

Emiliaxcosmetics lip glaze is sensory-friendly because it is non-sticky. Also, their lip glaze is lighter than a normal lip gloss, meaning that it won’t feel as heavy and noticeable on your lips. They suggest using their lip glazes on top of lipstick, giving you a chance to play around with different tints to your favourite lipsticks. However, you can absolutely wear these alone.
They have nine shades in total, and they come in 1.5mL or 5mL sizes.
Glow in the Dark Stars
You’re never too old to have glow-in-the-dark stars. These stars give you a chance to decorate your walls while also providing low light. You can purchase these stars in blue, green, and pink colours. To glow, they need to be under a light source for 15-30 minutes. These are a great gift for anyone looking to decorate their space and anyone who prefers low-light options. One of the reviews also mentions that instead of reaching for their phone when they can’t sleep, they stare at these stars instead. So, these might be helpful for people who have a hard time falling asleep.
These glow-in-the-dark stars can be purchased here.
Battery Operated Wall Sconce
Being able to adjust your light settings can be so helpful to create a sensory-friendly space. You can control the brightness, the temperature (ex. changing them from a blue, cold white to a more yellow, warm light), and the color of these lights. Because these are battery-operated, you also don’t have to worry about wiring, and they will still work during a power outage. To install these, you will need a drill.
You can purchase these wall sconces here.
“The Body Lotion” by Necessaire

Even when my skin is at its driest, I avoid putting on body lotion because it takes too long to dry, and it ends up being sticky. Necessaire’s “The Body Lotion” is fragrance-free, quick-drying, and non-sticky. These attributes make it more sensory-friendly than other lotions. It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, plastic-neutral, and hypoallergenic. This is a great gift for people who always have dry skin and who have fragrance sensitivities.
Necessaire’s The Body Lotion can be purchased here.
Briogeo Gentle Hair Detangler

One thing I find really overstimulating is detangling my hair, especially if I haven’t had the spoons to take care of it for a while. Having a detangler on hand makes detangling knots easier so that you don’t have to fight with your hair. This detangler by Briogeo is fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and was designed for sensitive skin. If you know someone who has a sensitive scalp or struggles with detangling their hair, this is a great gift for them.
You can purchase Briogeo’s gentle hair detangler here.
Wet Brush Detangler
Another tool you can use to help detangle hair is a detangling brush. I have curly hair and don’t know what I would do without my detangling tools. The Wet Brush’s flexible bristles help to gently untangle your hair so you can avoid breakage and pain while detangling those tricky knots. This is a great gift for any hair type, including curly hair, and would pair well with Briogeo’s gentle hair detangler.
You can purchase the Wet Brush here.
Unscented Shampoo and Condition Bar Set by Notice Hair Co.

If you’re someone who gets overstimulated by scents, this shampoo and conditioner bar set is a great option. Notice’s Aspen bars are vegan, cruelty-free, unscented, and color-safe. You can also use the conditioner bar as a leave-in. Shampoo and conditioner bars also last longer than bottled shampoo and conditioner. Each bar replaces 2-3 plastic bottles and is packaged with zero plastic. These are also an excellent gift for people who travel and fly frequently because they’re easy to pack and don’t contribute to liquid limits.
The Aspen Unscented Shampoo and Conditioner set can be purchased here.
Cooling Blanket – Homfine
If you know someone who overheats often or struggles with night sweats, a cooling blanket might be a very helpful gift for them. This queen-sized cooling blanket from Homfine is lightweight and cool to the touch. You could curl up with it on the couch or use it as an extra blanket on your bed. One feature I also love about this blanket is that it is machine washable. It comes multiple colors and sizes.
You can purchase this blanket by Homfine here.
Olive + Crate Eucalyptus 4pc Sheet Set
Olive + Crate’s Eucalyptus Cooling Pillowcases and Sheets are moisture-wicking, temperature-regulating, soft, machine washable, hypoallergenic, and sustainable. If you know someone who is a hot sleeper, struggles with night sweats, has sensitive skin, or is passionate about the environment and sustainability, these would be a great gift for them.
Olive + Crate’s pillowcases and sheets are made from Tencel Lyocell fibres, which are made from eucalyptus wood. Eucalyptus requires less water and less land than cotton, making it a more sustainable option. Additionally, once these sheets have reached the end of their life, you can compost them because they are made out of natural fibres!
This 4pc set comes with a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and 2 pillowcases. The set also comes with a bag to store your sheet set in when you’re not using it. Want to try out one pillowcase to see if you like it before buying a whole set? You can check out their pillowcases here.

House Shoes by Shoelocker
These shoes are machine washable, anti-slip, and support your feet with memory foam. Wearing shoes indoors can be helpful to avoid overstimulation and cold feet. If you know someone who always has cold toes, or who wears socks around the house because they don’t want their bare feet touching the floor, these are a great gift for them.
These microsuede house shoes by Shoelocker can be purchased here. If you typically buy women’s shoes and are wondering what size you are, subtract 1.5 from your usual size. For example, I am a size 10 in women’s shoes, so I would be a size 8.5 in men’s shoes.
Need a smaller shoe size? Check out these slippers here.
LED Dimming Covers
These covers by LIGHT DIMS can be used to cover lights to dim them by 50-80%. Have electronics with blinking or bright lights that stay on constantly, making it difficult to focus or fall asleep? These light dimmers can help to reduce the brightness of those lights. These are a great gift for anyone who struggles with getting distracted easily and sensory overwhelm.
These LED dimmers can be purchased here.
Window Privacy Film
If you’d like to find a balance between letting light into a room, blocking UV rays, and giving yourself more privacy, this is a great option. This rainbow privacy film clings to your window, without adhesive, and it can block up to 96% of UV rays. Because it uses water to cling to your window, you can remove it easily and reuse it. The film itself is colorless, it is the light refraction that makes it appear as a rainbow. Privacy film is a great option to reduce sensory input, because it also reduces the amount of stimuli you see out of your window. If you know someone who lives on a busy street or has a lot of light coming into their windows, this is a great gift.
This window privacy film can be purchased here.
BeeVines Sleep Masks
Sleep masks are a great gift for those who have insomnia and for people who take naps during the day. For example, if you’re trying to sleep while your child is sleeping, a sleep mask may help you be able to fall asleep faster. Sleep masks can also be used to reduce visual sensory input when you’re feeling overstimulated. Also, these sleep masks are made from hypoallergenic silk, which prevents rubbing against your skin.
BeeVines Sleep Masks can be purchased here.
Honeywell Turboforce Fan
One thing that I really struggle with is regulating my temperature. Having a fan helps to move air around so I can feel cooler. I like to keep my fan near my window to pull cool air from outside during the night so I can sleep better. This Honeywell fan has 3-speed settings and can even be mounted on the wall. Another great feature of this fan is that it is quiet, while still being a powerful fan. If you find fan noises overwhelming, this is a great fan for you.
This 11-inch Honeywell fan can be purchased here.
Electric Spin Scrubber
If you find cleaning overstimulating, this is tool that can help you avoid touching the mess while you clean it, spend less time scrubbing, and avoid getting on your hands and knees to clean. It even comes with an extension arm for those hard to reach places. This kHelfer scrubber has two spin speeds and eight different brushes so you can pick the best speed and brush for what you’re cleaning. It is also cordless, and has a 1.5 hour battery life after being charged for 3-4 hours.
You can purchase this electric spin scrubber here.
Noise Cancelling Headphones by House of Marley

I’ve had my Positive Vibration XL ANC headphones for almost 2 years, and I adore them and use them almost every day. If you have the noise cancelling feature on, they have 26 hours of playtime. Without the noise cancelling feature on, they have 32 hours of playtime. One reason I chose these headphones over the other noise-cancelling ones on the market is they are made from sustainable materials like FSC Certified Wood and recyclable aluminum. There is also a built-in microphone that you can use for phone calls and Zoom meetings. These headphones play a big role in my ability to cope with day-to-day life because they give me control over what I have to hear. These are a great gift for anyone who loves music and gets overstimulated easily by sound.
You can purchase the Positive Vibration XL ANC headphones here. If you prefer earbuds, check out their earbuds here.
