Neurodiverging began in 2020 with a mission to empower neurodivergent individuals by providing the resources needed to thrive and to advance disability awareness and social justice. From the very beginning, we’ve been dedicated to creating positive change: not just for individuals, but for the broader community we all share.
Today, we’re proud to offer sliding-scale services rooted in a mutual aid model. This approach ensures that those with the ability to contribute more can help make our work accessible to those who might otherwise go without. Our work is grounded in strength-based, evidence-backed strategies for assessment and skill-building, underpinned by a deep commitment to social and disability justice. At the heart of everything we do is the belief in taking care of one another and building a world where everyone can thrive.
In 2024, Neurodiverging Coaching got stuff done:
Community Impact through Access:
- ✅ We created 20 new episodes of the Neurodiverging Podcast as a free resource for neurodivergent community
- ✅ We developed 12 new articles for our Library
- ✅ We helped over 300 people (!) conquer common executive function humps for in our inaugural free Get Yourself Together 5-Day Executive Function Bootcamp in March! (which miiiiiiight just be happening again in 2024, keep your eyes open!)
- ✅We supported over 270 people to rediscover their power to make changes in our inaugural 5-Day Empowerment Kickstart, plus our Summer Plannning Party and 6 Weeks to Create a Life That Works for You workshops, all free.
- ✅ We offered free support and resources to hundreds of newly identified neurodivergent folks who were reaching out for support for the first time via email, social media, and through discovery calls.
“Neurodiverging has helped me grow immensely since I joined in 2023 because of its incredibly supportive community and the amazing resources created by Danielle. Danielle provides a safe space in coaching sessions that made me feel heard and encouraged me to grow and challenge myself to try new approaches and supports.” – Kenna F., Resilience Circle Member
Growing Accessible Coaching Initiatives:
- ✅ We served more than 70 new neurodivergent clients through our 1:1 life coaching support
- ✅ Danielle launched our Resilience Circle, our monthly group coaching membership, and added an additional 25 hours of NEW courses and webinars for neurodivergent folks and families
- ✅ We expanded our Get Stuff Done accountability group from 2 to 12 hours per week, and held monthly Neurodivergent Parent Affinity group meetings on Discord through Patreon!
- ✅ We doubled our Patreon membership, which allowed us to provide more than 100 hours of free or low-cost coaching services to low-income clients this year (almost twice what we were able to offer in 2023!!)
“Danielle has created a very welcoming and supportive community with the GSD [Get Stuff Done] group. I’ve been more productive and have had less stress with completing work and household tasks since attending.” – Marie T., Community Supporter
Neurodiversity-Affirming Training Efforts
- ✅ Danielle provided neurodiversity training and education directly to companies like Lightsource BP, the Steven Spectrum Career Project, and Chico Unified School District.
- ✅ With neuroscientist Dr. Rabia Subhani, we launched our new Neuro-Affirming Care Certification for Coaches and Healthcare Providers, an 8-week asynchonous training program for support providers.
“I really enjoyed this course!! I have taken a few different ND affirming courses as I am transitioning my practice to being neuro-affirming and to support/advocate for my children who also identify as ND as well as for myself as an late-diagnosed ND individual. This is the first course I can actually ‘feel’ that instructors truly care about the content and have a real lived experience of either being a ND support system/ally or identify as ND themselves. I can truly discern that both [Rabia] and Danielle show real empathy and authenticity throughout the course. I will ensure to integrate these practices for my clients, for my household and community. Thank you both so much!!”
